Our July meeting was lightly attended, (as was the June meeting).
Attendees were Ken Lombard, Ken Clinton, Nathan Simon and Ian McSweeney of the Russell Foundation.
We discussed the upcoming closing on the deRoetth easement, due to happen within weeks. The Bailey Pond project will follow soon afterward.
I have met with Thelma Bouchard of Woods Lane and she is interested in pursuing the protection of the family property there.
We discussed the plan outlined by Dave Ely for the Thibeault property and planned to have our next meeting be a site walk to check possibilities on the ground.
Last night I met with the Planning Board and got their concurrence in principal to look at zoning options for the gravel pit area. With this support and information from our site visit, we can put together a plan to present to the Selectmen
Our next meeting will be a site walk on August 16th We will meet at 7:00 PM on Byam Rd just up from the intersection with River Rd.
